Satkhira, Bangladesh (2013/14)

Organic Shrimp Project (OSP)
Effective Internal Control System (ICS) management training, as well as training on general organic aquaculture production rules providing a basis for the successful production of organic quality shrimps. This cooperation was set-up to strengthen the capacity for sustainable shrimp production in Bangladesh being funded by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH).

Organic aquaculture
inbiseco contributes to the management of smallholder farmer producer groups in Bangladesh that produce certified organic Black Tiger shrimps since several years. In this context the close cooperation contributes to functionality as effectiveness of the overall Internal Control System (ICS) management. Internal control and continuous supervision are considered as important tools to assure quality and organic integrity of the production.

Expert monitoring of EU Commission`s audit
Expert monitoring of the EU-Commission`s Feed and Veterinary Office (FVO) audit in Vietnam. The FVO audit focussed on organic aquaculture smallholder producer groups and its Internal Control System`s (ICS) management. This expert monitoring took place in cooperation with the Certification Body IMO Swiss AG

Organic Aquaculture Production – Capacity building
Effective Internal Control System (ICS) management training, as well as training on general organic aquaculture production rules providing a basis for the successful production of organic quality shrimps. This project was set-up to strengthen the capacity for sustainable shrimp production in Vietnam in cooperation with the Netherlands Development Organisation SNV.

New Delhi, India (2015)

CITD-Projekt – Strengthening capacities in the certification of organic products – Aquaculture
The specific objective of the training workshop was to expand the capacity of organic products` certification in India to aquaculture products. Further to provide expertise for accreditation committee members and decision-makers as well as inspection bodies and other institutions being involved in the organic aquaculture sector. This project was based upon a cooperation of the Brithish Standards Institution (BSI), Naturland (NL), bluesensus and inbiseco consultancy.

inbiseco is the official cooperation partner of the Certification Body IMO Swiss AG. In this framework inbiseco provides international consultancy services regarding organic aquaculture production and associated value chains.

Processing and export of organic aquaculture products
Organic training has to be considered as one of the most imortant concerns of organic production. Without adequate training of staff and management the compliance with the respective organic rules can not be assured. The specific objective of this assignment was to train and support processing and export facilities applying for organic certification. This project was set-up in cooperation with bluesensus consultancy.

In the framework of the cluster of excellence “Future Ocean”- Sustainable aquaculture (SS 2018) at the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel inbiseco provided lecture and expertise in the field of “Organic production of microalgae”.
